I downloaded a map update to my navigation system in my Jeep and it corrupted my entire system. The radio and nav system have to be replaced for $400.

They are "sorry. Things like this happen and it's nobody's fault". This is totally unacceptable. They should stand behind their products.

I also had to pay my Jeep dealership $41.48 to diagnose the problem. They concluded that it can't be repaired.

I spent all afternoon sitting at the dealership plus the cost and time of two hours driving there. Is there anyway I can recover any of this cost without hiring a lawyer?

Product or Service Mentioned: Garmin Navigatoin System Software Upgrade.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I liked: Nav system when it worked.

I didn't like: Map update corrupted it and it is unusable.
