Garmin - I'm not happy with my experience!!!!!
I just called Garmin to get help with my Update on a Nuvi. I got a person who didn't even ask if he could get on my computer, but just told me to download a piece of software that lets them get on my computer, they used to ask now they just do it, good thing my internet was slow and not moving fast, so while we were waiting he started asking me all kinds of questions about who I am and my family and where I live, and it struck me that that's how you get your identity stolen, and your home robbed, he asked if my family was going on any trip for the holidays and how old my children were, and how many I had, and I thought, wow, he's collecting information on me and trying to get on my computer where information is ofcoarse, so I stopped the download and hung up the phone.
I will not buy Garmin again, instead of just answering a few questions about downloading an update, he had me to go on an off site place and download a program to see what's on my computer, no Thank You, I can do without that kind of Help, I'd rather someone didn't try to STEAL my information and Put Virus' on my computer and steal my info that way, not good business Practices. I'm not a Happy Customer...
